''For all eternity we are loved and until all eternity we will be loved."
An interruption from eternity.
An opportunity to respond to God's love.
An invitation to need each other.
"God showed His love in vulnerability and dependence, this is the way of Jesus."
Being willing to be vulnerable.
By receiving His love in our weakness not in "strength" or "power".
By embracing our poverty and others.
"The work of the Spirit takes place when people gather to become a people of God.
Community of the church happens when we say
"I need you brother/sister.
Together we can make this journey whole".
which person in our lives mean the most to us,
we often find that it is those who,
instead of giving advice,
solutions, or cures,
have chosen rather to share our pain and
touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand.
The friend who can be silent with
us in a moment of despair or confusion,
who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement,
who can tolerate not knowing,
not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness,
that is a friend who cares.”
